Selling homes? Tap into emotions

As we promised last week, we’re starting to post video from this year’s IBS. If you want to view some of the videos, visit our video page. Of course, check back on the blog as we post some of the better ones during the next week or so.

I had the pleasure of having lunch with Red Rocket’s Carol Ruiz [she writes the monthly marketing column for us], Cassandra Grauer and Jason Forrest from Shore Forrest.

Jason’s an interesting guy. He’s a great debater [note to self, never debate him], persuasive and a published author. His role as president of Shore Forrest is helping home builders sell their homes – whether that’s through his books, consulting or speaking engagements. He doesn’t take the usual tactics though [“stainless steel appliances!” granite countertops!”] instead relying and tapping into the home buyer’s emotions.

We’re working with Jason on having him contribute an article for us soon on that same topic. Until then, check out the video we shot of him at the show.
